About Us.

Who We Are

We are a worldwide ministry in which millions of children reap the benefits of one man’s clear

Our Journey

Tikvah Alive Uganda was born out of a profound desire to bring hope and positive change to vulnerable children, youth, and women in Wakiso District and across Uganda. Our founder, Elizabeth Nyamwanda, experienced the harsh realities of life as an orphan and was raised by her grandmother in Asinge Village, Tororo District. Despite the hardships she faced, Elizabeth found solace and strength in her faith, learning to love and serve God from a young age. Her experiences of overcoming adversity inspired her to create a children’s ministry dedicated to supporting other children in similar situations.

Our Mission & Vision.

What makes us different?

Our Mission

At Tikvah Alive Uganda, our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ with every child and empower them to know their rights and responsibilities. We strive to create a supportive environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Our integrated development programs are designed to address the unique needs of vulnerable communities, focusing on education, health advocacy, and environmental conservation.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every child is happy, safe, and surrounded by the love of God. Our goal is to build a brighter future for the communities we serve, ensuring that every individual has access to education, healthcare, and opportunities for growth. By fostering an environment of love, respect, and inclusivity, we aim to create lasting, positive change.

Our Approach

Tikvah Alive Uganda employs a rights-based approach in all our programs, ensuring that the communities we serve have access to education, improved health, and a cleaner environment. Our integrated development programs directly contribute to poverty reduction and provide improved income and employment opportunities for youth and women. We believe in empowering communities by equipping them with the knowledge and resources they need to advocate for their rights and improve their quality of life.
